Calculate date difference in days or business days between 2 dates. Enter the dates. Check "Count Business Days Only" to calculate only business days (Monday through Friday).  Check "Saturday is a Business Day" if you consider it so.

This calculator counts actual days based on the dates you submit; a year is 365 days and a leap year is 366 days. It determines the difference between 2 dates, for example, 2/5/2016 minus 2/1/2016 = 4 days.  In other words, properly stated, on 2/1/2016 it is 4 days until 2/5/2016, and on 2/5/2016, 2/1/2016 was 4 days ago.

For US date formatting style use a forward slash (/), a period (.), or a dash (-):

• mm/dd/yyyy
• mm.dd.yyyy
• mm-dd-yyyy

For EU or European date formatting style use a forward slash (/), a period (.), or a dash (-):

• dd/mm/yyyy
• dd.mm.yyyy
• dd-mm-yyyy

For international date formatting style according to ISO 8601 use only a dash (-):

• yyyy-mm-dd

Holidays

This calculator does not exclude holidays. If you are counting holidays as non-business days you must extend your final date to include the number of holidays you span. For example, if your range spans across weekdays for July 4th and Labor Day you would extend 2 days.
